Production Manager Micro-Devices (Greenhouse)

In this role, you have the opportunity to be a part of the Micro-Devices team in Eindhoven on Strijp-S, you lead the production team of the Micro-Devices department, which includes the SMD-machine park, assembly & test lines for PCBA’s and (sub)-systems. Position is covering aspects of driving the production process and staff to meet world-class operational performance. In this role, you will be part of the management team, responsible for driving operational excellence and manufacturing medical and non-medical devices, PCBA’s and components in a safe, compliant, and effective manner. Manage the performance and adoption of operational KPIs, capture learnings and improvements adhering to Philips Manufacturing Excellence standards.

Your responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Prepare and execute our production processes to deliver quality products to our customers on time;
• Team Leadership: Lead multi-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that have a tangible impact on operational performance and customer satisfaction;
• Process Improvement: Develop business cases to support these improvement projects. Measure and demonstrate impact to business by process re-engineering initiatives and efforts;
• Quality Assurance: Support internal and external audits and ensure that corrective actions are implemented on time;
• Project Management: Ensure rigor in project execution, deliverables, timing and status reporting.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with your customers from various businesses and functions;

What we are looking for

• Masters/Bachelor degree Electronics, Industrial Engineering (operations focus preferred);
• Minimum 6 years of experience in operations or supply chain management.
• A real passion for Operations – knowledge of medical products is a plus;
• Experience in leading change within an operational environment and introducing new manufacturing flow and logistics processes;
• Strong communication, planning and organizational skills;
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and verbal);
• Hands on mentality, a great teammate with a real passion for results and people;
• Quality & Compliance Mindset & Execution;

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

• Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
• Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
