PRODUCTION PLANNER
(full-time, location Wormerveer, the Netherlands)

We are a Dutch manufacturer of plastic tubes serving the cosmetic-, food-, pharma- and industrial
markets. We currently have 2 manufacturing sites in the Netherlands and Belgium and sales offices
throughout Europe and employ around 140 people.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
Monitor the supply chain
The Production Planner oversees a variety of different departments within our supply chain to ensure
that the overall process runs smoothly. You are the spider within the web of the order management
department, artwork department, production and logistics.
You will mainly be focusing on the long-term planning and operate the planning department
together with a counterpart who will oversee the short-term planning. You however will also be
involved in the day-to-day business, as this impacts the long-term planning and your expertise will be
required in urgent situations.
Manage production orders
The Production Planner facilitates the timely planning of deliveries.
They work with customer service in order to notify customers of delays and other issues.
Identify inefficiencies
In order to develop a more effective supply chain, the Production Planner helps identify inefficiencies.
