Receptionist (0.8 FTE)
Start date: as soon as possibleWe are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our Reception and Secondary Office team on a part-time basis. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for students, staff, parents, and visitors. Reporting to the Secondary Office Manager, you will work closely with a small team of three colleagues, rotating responsibilities throughout the week. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, as you will collaborate to ensure smooth operations and deliver exceptional service to our school community.

Key responsibilities include:
- Registering visitors and welcome them
- Answering and transferring telephone calls to the different departments in the school
- Register students in i Sams, the school’s registration system
- Prepares Lates and Absences reports
- Follows up with teachers on the registration of lates and absences
- Handling emails from parents and taking action if needed
- Receiving incoming parcels delivered
- Coordinate with the Primary Office and Secondary Office when it comes to student related matters
- All other general related duties to reception work
Key Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
- Proficiency in computer systems (Google, Gmail, Microsoft Suite)
- Fluent in Dutch and English (native level for English)
- Knowledge of educational institutions and procedures
- Stress-resistance and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Right to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship
We offer:
We offer an exciting opportunity to join a respected international school. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of becoming permanent if conditions are met.The position follows the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement (CAO VO) for Secondary Education, scale 4. For full-time (40 hours per week, 1.0 FTE) the salary ranges from € 2136 to € 2961 gross per month, depending on your experience and background. Additional benefits include an 8% holiday allowance, an 8.33% year-end bonus, extra support staff bonuses, travel expense contributions, and participation in the ABP pension scheme.
You'll also have access to tax benefits for things like trade union dues, sports memberships, bike purchases for commuting, and travel allowances. Our staff enjoy discounts on various insurance policies and collective disability coverage from Loyalis.
We encourage professional growth and offer an annual budget for personal development. You'll also receive 90 hours of Individual Choice Budget (pro-rata) and 426 vacation hours (53 days) per year, which includes public holidays. While school holidays are generally followed, some duties may require you to work during these times.
