Starting from the October 2024, we have a job opening at our Primary school for a:
Concierge
(1 FTE)
The ideal candidate
- Has affinity with students between the ages 4 to 12 years old, as the concierge will supervise the students during break times.
- Has knowledge of the English and Dutch language in word and writing.
- Will ensure the safety of children this involves being vigilant at the building's entrance, overseeing the children during the beginning and end of the school day, and performing regular checks to confirm that safety protocols are being followed. These responsibilities are crucial for creating a secure learning environment.
- Will help regulate traffic in the morning and at the end of the day.
- Can work on a variety of (maintenance) tasks in the building
- Various activities in the context of management and maintenance of the building are part of your range of tasks
- Submit administrative data following a structured process to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Is in possession of a BHV and First Aid diploma, or is willing to attain them. A VCA diploma is an advantage
- You are available every day on weekdays, 8 hours a day, alternating between 07:30 and 18:00. There are also periodic evening shifts. During school holidays, shifts are also run due to maintenance work.
- An appointment based on the Dutch teachers' collective labour agreement for primary education (CAO PO) on pay scale 4, salary will be between €2389 to €2961. The specific step in the scale depends on relevant background and experience
- An annual contract is offered, which will be converted into permanent employment if performance is good
- Workplace will be at our Primary school located on the Houtrustweg 2

Shortlisted candidates will receive an invitation via e-mail. The first interview will take place at our primary location; Houtrustweg 2 on 3 and 4 October and the second interview will be on Thursday 10 October. In case of equal suitability, internal candidates are preferred. Applicants are eligible for the reimbursement of travel expenses. The recruitment officer will provide more information upon invitation.
