As part of the Global Anti-Bribery and Corruption Compliance Team, you will play an instrumental role in improving and maturing our AB&C framework. This helps to ensure that ING remains best placed to identify, mitigate and manage potential bribery and corruption risks. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Compliance Officer to take charge and put their mark on the programme.

The team
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Anti-Bribery and Corruption (AB&C) professional to join the FCC function, which is part of the Corporate Compliance department. Our AB&C team is composed of seven talented professionals spread across the Netherlands, Poland and the UK. This role is based in ING Head Office in Amsterdam.

Roles and responsibilities
Your main focus will be on maturing and improving ING’s Anti-Bribery and Corruption Compliance framework, this includes:

• Advise and challenge the identification, documentation and assessment of bribery and corruption risks associated with the bank’s activities.
  
• Clearly and succinctly express ideas, facts and opinions to support countries implement and adhere to INGs AB&C Framework.
  
• Coaching/supporting the wider team to perform their activities and grow the collective experience within the Global AB&C team.
  
• Facilitate collaboration with a large stakeholder group and creating high-quality materials for workshops and decisioning.
  
• Establish plans to determine tasks, priorities, and timelines and identifying the resources needed to achieve goals.

As a Senior Anti-Bribery and Corruption Specialist you have following traits and experience:

• You possess a deep understanding of relevant bribery and corruption typologies, preventive controls and methods.
  
• A proven interest in - and minimum 10 years’ experience in – Compliance risk in the financial sector.
  
• You are experienced in facilitating collaboration with a large stakeholder group and creating high-quality materials for workshops and decisioning.
  
• You are confident, result driven and seek to find innovative and new creative solutions
  
• You can establish plans to determine tasks, priorities, and timelines and identifying the resources needed to achieve goals.
  
• You have the ability to clearly and succinctly express ideas, facts and opinions. Is able to express them fluently both in speaking and writing, supported by appropriate tools.
  
• You are fluent in the English language (speaking, reading and writing).
