Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our team in Utrecht. As a Shop Assistant at Kellys Expat Shopping, you will play a key role in providing a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, answering any questions they may have.
• Stock Management: Keep shelves stocked, organized, and clean; monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
• Point of Sale: Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle transactions accurately.
• Merchandising: Assist in the setup of in-store displays and promotions to enhance the shopping experience.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the store, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the products we offer to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.

Qualifications:

• Previous Retail Experience: Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage inventory, handle cash transactions, and keep the store organized.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch or another language is a plus.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment.

Working Hours:

• Flexible Shifts: Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and Bank holidays (except Christmas and New Years day)
• Part-Time/Full-Time: Both part-time and full-time positions are available, depending on your availability and our needs.
