We are looking for an experienced, solid, and pragmatic Solution Architect who would like to work in a challenging and international environment to enable the bank to provide relevant financial services to our clients. You will be part of Tribe External Reporting. The area WR/Treasury contributes to statistical, prudent, financial, sustainability, and transparency information (reports and datasets). Business knowledge is required.
As a Senior Solution Architect, you play a key role in technological innovation.

You and your job
The Solution Architect works with other architects to develop and maintain the roadmaps and other architecture products, such as domain-specific principles/standards. The architect develops project start architectures (PSAs) and decision-making memos with business, delivery, and architecture stakeholders. Next, you collaborate closely with the engineers in our squads to design and develop the applications in the Area W&R/Treasury.
The solution architect is responsible for engineering solution designs that meet business requirements by understanding business needs and ensuring they meet architectural standards. They also help standardize platforms and tools to identify and propose appropriate technology solutions.

Together with the business realising top solutions based on the best available platforms and technologies.
You will be successful when the bank can transition to efficient, effective, and compliant application solutions.
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure application solutions are optimized for functionality, reliability, availability, scalability, security, and cost. This role will also contribute to developing strategies, policies, and best practices.

Practical examples

Creating Project Start Architecture(Solution Intent) and coordinating with stakeholders/architecture board to get approval.
Translate business and IT requirements into functional architectural designs aligned with the Area business architect and the responsible squads.
Coordinate the overall design and implementation.
Communicate and explain External Reporting and business functions & processes to stakeholders in a complex chain environment.
Be an advisor to Area leadership, Tribe leadership in decision-making
Support the squads when necessary with architecture guidance

You and your talent
To be considered for the Senior Solution Architect role, you must have:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.
Microsoft Certified Azure Architect
Minimum 5+ year’s industry experience as a Solution Architect
Minimum 5+ years of Banking experience
Experience with Archi Mate (and ARIS) is a pré
Practical experience with architectural methods and techniques
Proven experience in designing and maintaining a services architecture
Experience in collaborating/facilitating with squads to take them along with architecture vision
You are not afraid to voice your professional opinion and have an open view of the future
You see what needs to be done and take the initiative to ensure items get moving and issues are resolved.

A yearly salary incl. all benefits up to € 110.000,00 (based on 40 hours, scale 10), depending on your knowledge and experience.
