What you’ll do:
You will join the small finance team of Northland Power International Holdings in Amsterdam and in your role you report to the Accountant.
You will be supporting the financial administration of all Northland entities in The Netherlands. This primarily consists of assisting in the accounts payable and accounts receivable. Secondary you will be supporting/ checking employee expense reports. You will also support month-end and quarter-end close requirements including reconciliation of payable accounts and sub-ledgers and preparing the specifications of accounts other ad-hoc tasks as required.
The role will be for 32-40 hours per week. Hybrid at least 2 days in the Amsterdam office

• Assist in checking, verifying and processing supplier invoices
• Following up on unapproved supplier invoices and ensure timely approvals
• Verifying accurate booking according to accounting guidelines (General ledger/ cost center/ spend category)
• Prepare reconciliation with AP ledger and Ageing analysis of AP
• Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
• Maintain supplier- and customer master data
• Analyse and correct Fixed Assets in the accounting system
• Preparations of specifications of suspense accounts
• Preparation of prepayments
• Assist in monthly reconciliation of sub ledgers and suspense accounts
• Assist in month end reporting procedures
• Assist in processing & analyzing employee expense reports
• Update process and task description
