Job Description

• The Transport Team Manager will play a pivotal role in fulfilling the qualitative and quantitative transport objectives of the organization.
• The role entails the direct management of 2 full-time employees, specifically the Senior Planner and Team Leader Transport, while also having indirect oversight of about 60 employees.
• Key responsibilities include steering daily operations in the transport area and focusing on establishing this new role within the company and the new structure within the Transport team.
• Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Transport Team Manager will be responsible for the entire Transport department.
• This encompasses customer deliveries and transfer shipments between production sites and warehouses, equating to 200 to 300 shipments daily.
• The Transport Team Leader supervises all drivers and the fleet manager.
