Your responsibilities as Vice President of Sales
As Vice President for our business domain Build & Secure, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with our business objectives. You will lead and manage the sales team of your domain, drive revenue growth, and build strong relationships with clients and partners. You will be responsible for driving pipeline and forecasting of your domain and insure best in class processes are in place to reach objectives. You will report directly to- and cooperate with the CRO.

Your tasks as a Vice President of Sales
  • Sales strategy development: creating and implementing effective sales strategies to meet domain’s revenue goals and growth objectives
  • Revenue Growth: responsible for revenue growth, identifying new market opportunities and expanding the customer base
  • Sales forecasting and planning: develop sales forecasts, budgets, and actions plans to achieve targets
  • Sales process optimization: streamlining the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including adoption of sales tools and technologies implemented by the Sales Ops team.
  • Performance Monitoring: monitor KPIs and sales teams performance against set targets
  • Collaboration with marketing: collaborate with the marketing department to align sales and marketing effort of your domain, ensuring consistent messaging and effective lead generation / ROI
  • Pricing to contract negotiation: oversee pricing negotiation for major contracts with customers
  • Reporting: prepare regular reports for senior management
  • Stakeholder engagement: engage with key stakeholders, including the executive team (Domain MD) to align sales strategies with overall domain objectives
  • Budget: work within budget allocation insuring maximum and optimized sales coverage
  • Participate on QBRs, Sales Kick-off and key sales events through the year
Location and travel
Since the staff and customers of the Build & Secure business line are largely located in The Netherlands, we are aiming at a Netherlands-based candidate. Candidates should expect to attend management meetings within our three main offices as required. On average, one should expect to work in the Netherlands (approximately 60% of the time, in hybrid mode), France (30%) and Norway (10%).
Competences & Skills
  • Leadership - Providing direction and guidance to employees. Stimulating, establishing, and maintaining collaborations to achieve goals.
  • Entrepreneurship - Identifying business opportunities, actively influencing them, and daring to take responsible risks
  • Customer Orientation - Investigating the wishes and needs of the customer and showing consideration from that perspective
  • Environmental Awareness - Demonstrating good knowledge of developments and other environmental factors. Recognizing the relationships within an organization and effectively utilizing this knowledge.
  • Vision Communication - Conveying the direction in which the organization will go and the goals being pursued in an engaging way, creating support.
  • Expertise in developing long-term sales strategies that align with company goals.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to inform sales tactics.
  • Experience in conducting performance reviews and implementing improvement plans.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems and how to leverage them to enhance customer interactions.
  • Skills in analyzing customer data to improve retention and satisfaction rates.
Sounds familiar?
  • Masters degree in Business
  • At least 10 years of experience in this role, preferably in a related industry, or at least in a Saa S environment
  • IT-minded and fully familiar with KPIs, Sales Cadence, CRM, Salesforce, Business Control-, BI and ERP systems
  • Fluent in English, preferably in Dutch as well, speaking French would be a bonus
