Our Applicant Experience Leads will provide pivotal support across a variety of end to end recruitment processes. This is a crucial role in the provision of support and engagement to current applicants and re-engagement with previous applicants. Only the best will make it through the Police selection process and our Applicant Experience Leads are here to help.
Taking our applicant service and engagement activity, relevant communication, and constabulary recruitment data/trend management activities to the next level these roles will be expected to contribute significantly to the quality and volume targets of NZ Police recruitment.
These roles are cross-functional, fast moving and very busy!
A clear focus on continuous improvement will be expected, as will a demonstrable passion for being part of an exceptional, applicant centric team.

Key Accountabilities:
Provide support to the broader Constabulary Recruitment team’s recruitment activities via effective operational applicant contact, engagement and support initiatives.
Take ownership of effective re-engagement activities that results inprevious applicants re-entering our selection process
Contribute to the development and agile delivery of applicant management and re-engagement strategies in line with organisational requirements.
Detailed data capture, system compliance and adherence to required information management and storage protocols.
Effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including “courageous conversations” when required.
Contribute to relevant process compliance and issue resolution activities to ensure proactive resource utilisation and “best scenario” outcomes.
Provide input into overall Constabulary Recruitment service delivery and daily guidance, development, and support to your team.

You'll have experience in managing multiple pieces of complex work at once and working in a fast paced, service delivery focused environment that values information and a positive recruitment reputation.
Ideally, you'll have previous direct experience working in an operational recruitment role, however your personal focus on exceptional customer interactions and service delivery will have seen your career naturally evolve to a place where you can now confidently outline your point of difference in such a high demand role.
Whakaritenga motuhake | Special requirements
These roles will be based at the existing Constabulary Recruitment Hubs – these are located at the Tauranga South Police Station (x1 role) and the Counties Manukau District Head Quarters (x1 role). Some travel to other locations will be required.
This role is set at Individual Contributor level , this means your key purpose is “to deliver or enable others to deliver Our Business”.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $87,306 and $91,353 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
