The role
This role supports the Branch Manager with operations and the day-to-day running of the branch; oversee and supervise a team of trade specialists, ensuring their success; maintain a safe workplace.

Our Assistant Branch Managers:

  • Coach, develop, and support a small team of trade, sales and packing team members to reach their full potential
  • Provide sales and service to trade customers leveraging your expert automotive parts/mechanical knowledge
  • Manage and resolve customer issues/complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home
  • Often have opening and closing responsibilities.

Note, this role will require lifting, bending & climbing

The successful individual will:
  • Have previous supervisory experience or be ready for that next step
  • Previous trade, industrial experience, including sales, wholesale and/or workshop operations experience highly desirable
  • Ideally have a mechanical/ trade automotive parts knowledge and experience background
  • Have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver’s licence
  • Have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)
  • Sound computer skills.
