About the role:
Reporting to the Chapter Lead for B2B Marketing, the B2B Marketer is responsible for planning & executing marketing campaigns to support our product and sales teams to deliver against business targets. The role holder will be a channel marketing specialist with a data driven approach to marketing campaigns focused on driving commercial outcomes.
The role holder will create, implement, and manage a variety of marketing campaigns to drive awareness, consideration and conversion.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop multi-channel campaigns which support the agreed strategy.
- Lead the delivery of the implementation and evaluation of your campaigns, measuring against ROI targets.
- Lead content creation for products and services including copy writing, website content, case studies, EDMs, newsletters, social posts etc.
- Concept, plan and execute in-person events, tradeshows and webinars.
- Management of internal partners & external agencies where relevant to support delivery of campaigns.
- Create and maintain your own campaign trackers and conduct campaign performance analysis.
- Using Sales Force, Marketo and Seismic, extract relevant data for personalised campaigns.
- Manage and report weekly on your activity effectiveness and KPI’s.
- Continuously focus on improving your campaign effectiveness, through a constant test and learn approach to creative and media optimisation.
- Proactively identify customers' needs from your data stories and develop campaigns that answer to their needs.
- Be a brand guardian ensuring consistent use of the brand in line with the brand architecture across all comms.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is curious and demonstrates a test and learn mentality, with the capability to iterate and optimise campaigns to drive business growth
- Has a good understanding of marketing technology and how we can best use it to drive customer outcomes.
- Demonstrates a digital first and data driven approach to marketing campaigns driving commercial outcomes.
- Enjoys managing relationships with key stakeholders, partners and suppliers, both internal and external.
What do you need to be able to bring?
- 5 years plus experience in a marketing role with broad knowledge of the whole marketing mix.
- Experience in multi-channel marketing including lead generation for outbound, EDM and retargeting campaigns.
- Experience in leading or supporting the development of content for B2B products or services.
- Excellent copy writing skills & a passion for simplifying the complex into customer messages.
- A growth mindset, where you view challenges as opportunities and are inspired by the success of others.
- Highly motivated with professional drive.
- A passion for technology & IT.
- Ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships cross functionally.
- The ability to persuade and influence within your immediate team and across the wider Spark business.
- Fantastic communication skills to be able to balance the needs and priorities of multiple stakeholders.
- Marketing experience within a service industry or B2B environment would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Action orientated and results driven.
- Experience with Sales Force and Marketo would be beneficial.
