Due to internal progression, we are looking for a new branch technician to join our team in Tokoroa

This is a role primarily providing high-level face-to-face customer service, with full on-the-job training & support with the opportunity to progress through the business.

About the role

This is a very busy and varied role, which includes

• Answering the phone, taking and keying orders.
• Manufacturing of hoses for walk-in customers through the hose shop.
• Picking, packing & sending urgent orders when required.
• Warehouse work, including stock takes and accurate inventory
• Ensure all aspects of Karcher systems, purchasing, sales and stock allocation are accurate

Ultimately you also get an opportunity to become a mobile sales & service technician if that is a path you wish to follow. 

About the person

We are looking for someone with:

• A people person who is comfortable talking to customers and is a good team player.
• Flexibility for work hours, there is Saturday morning work on a roster basis.
• A good mechanical aptitude would be beneficial.
• A willingness and flexibility to take on tasks and responsibilities "outside the square".
• Good physical fitness (some heavy lifting is involved).
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
