We are a Liquor & Beverage Company dedicated to sourcing the world's best Spirits, Liqueurs, Beer and Café supplies for the New Zealand market. We have numerous products that are the world’s most awarded and internationally renowned, plus we are always on the lookout for fantastic new brands for our portfolio. As our company is expanding, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business Development Manager, to plan, direct, and control the sales and marketing activities to promote our products.
This is a full-time position but not a 9-5, Monday to Friday job. Weekend and evening events are a regular part of each month. Attending events such as Home & Amp; Lifestyle Shows, and other similar ones, are part of the position's responsibilities. Some out-of-town travel is required for this role.

Requirements:
-Business-related bachelor's degree or higher or at least five years of marketing/sales experience.
-Strong knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, beer, and wine is required.
-Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish, and basic in spoken Portuguese is required.
-A License Control Qualification and Managers Certificate is required.
-Willingness to continually learn and develop.
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
-A full, clean driver's license.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to expand market presence.
-Plan, develop and implement programs and activities that align with business goals to promote our brands and support sales objectives.
-Identify market opportunities for new and existing products.
-Build relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and propose solutions.
-Develop and implement strategies to maximize customer loyalty.
-Build and maintain the company’s image and reputation with its customers.
-Collaborate with the Director to establish strong relationships with stakeholders.
-Manage a pipeline of leads and actively seek new business opportunities.
-Visit regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on business opportunities.
We Offer:
-Permanent, Full-time position.
-Base hourly rate of $30 - $33 + performance bonus.
-Minimum of 40 working hours per week.
A clean police record is required (you must be willing to submit to a police check). Drug testing is mandatory and ongoing.
