The role


As a Business Development Manager, some of your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

• Identify, develop and nurture genuine business relationships with clients.
• Market and sell the range of Equinox IT services to support our growth objectives.
• Manage existing and new business relationships to maximise Equinox IT's chances for repeat business.
• Deliver other business objectives the company will have from time to time, including input to business strategy and planning.
• Understand what drives our consultants, fully understand their capabilities and strive to secure work that, as much as possible, meets their requirements and the company's interest.
• Assist in product development and identify market trends.

Some things you will need to have

• A strong local network of contacts.
• Previous vendor sales or presales experience.
• Confidence to speak to, and influence, multiple levels of decision-maker from manager to executives.
• Ability to influence through strong communication and sales presentation skills.

Some of the things we would like you to have

• Awareness of consulting practices including Architecture, Cloud, Dev Ops, Business Analysis and Managed Services.
