You will be based in Auckland. Remote work around NZ may be required from time to time.
This is a full-time permanent position and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week.
You will be responsible for the formwork of large concrete projecs and other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
- Ability to follow and interpret construction drawings (plans/blueprints)
- Construction of framing and formwork
- Installation of purlins, rafters and trusses
- Installation of dry wall (Gib), wall insulation (bats), fibre cement boards
- Installation of wall claddings (weatherboards etc)
- Assisting with formworks for different materials such as concrete, plaster and mortar
- Be able to use a variety of hand tools & power tools and show the ability to maintain your tools
- Be able to work with and guide less skilled workers
- Assisting with site tidying
- Following specific instructions as given by site management
- Minimum 3-years relevant experience
- Can work unsupervised or part of a team
- Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening
- Able to complete basic paperwork when needed
- Understands and practices the principles of zero harm
- Calm, professional temperament and a good work ethic
