Mō te tūranga - About the role

As a Change Management Practice Lead in ANZ’s Delivery & Change Centre of Excellence, you’ll play a key role in providing deep craft leadership and team direction across the Change Management Practice and leading the development and implementation of critical change initiatives across a range of strategically prioritised programs and projects. This is a newly established role in our Change Management Practice and will be instrumental in building ANZ’s Change Management capability and ensuring we continue to build and leverage best-in-class change management practices.

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like

As a Change Management Practice Leader, you will:
Define key Change Management capabilities to elevate change delivery and support the evolution of our Change Management Practice

Support the delivery of strategic, business-critical change across the bank ensuring consistent practices, minimising risks and optimising outcomes

Drive operational excellence across the business by utilising optimum change management tools and techniques and promoting a culture of change readiness and continuous improvement

Network with key senior and business stakeholders to develop and manage change and communications, support critical decision making and shape strategic solutions

Lead the segmentation, analysis of key stakeholder groups at a programme level, developing targeted change interventions to build awareness, knowledge, engagement and adoption to deliver programme objectives

Seek out information to manage risk effectively ensuring strong change management risk governance and strict adherence to policies and regulations

Stay informed of industry best practices in change management, ensuring the team are supported to develop and grow their capabilities.

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Significant enterprise Change Management experience with a strong track record in managing transformational and strategic change across large complex environments

Deep Change Management team leadership experience with an ability to deliver coaching and support change craft capability development, leaning in to work alongside team members, sponsors and leaders to solve issues and resolve project roadblocks

Experience applying Change Management expertise at a senior level, conducting change analysis, change management performance metrics and benefits realisation in producing quality business outcomes

Demonstrated experience in the development of enterprise change heatmaps to ensure that the level of change across the business is manageable from a delivery and implementation perspective

Knowledge and deep understanding of project management principles including experience in a project environment providing subject matter expertise to senior stakeholders

Ability to identify operational gaps and opportunities, and build change management capability across a business

Strong familiarity with Change Management best practices, frameworks and methodologies including experience working in Agile environments

Formal Change Management qualification would be highly advantageous for this role and 10+ years of strong and demonstrable change management design, delivery and embedment.
