You will be required to work as per the roster and be available to work on weekends and late evenings. You must have reliable transport as the cafe is located in Diamond Harbour. If you don't live around Diamond Harbour then you will need to be prepared to drive to the cafe. The cafe is around 30km one way from Christchurch Central or a 10-minute ferry from Lyttelton.

Tasks Include:

• Planning menus, estimating food costs
• Ordering food supplies and ensuring correct stock inventory
• Monitoring quality of dishes and training juniors on cooking procedure
• Discussing issues with Managers and other kitchen staff
• Preparing and cooking food
• Ensuring and enforcing hygiene regulations
