About the role

We are expanding our sales teams in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch to maximise market share and strengthen customer relationships.

As a Construction Equipment Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for driving sales across the Auckland region. Based at our Pukekohe Dealership, you’ll play a key role in growing our market presence by actively engaging with new and existing customers, developing strong relationships, and providing expert product knowledge and support.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Full ownership of the sales process, from new customer prospecting to existing customer account management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry.
• Actively manage a sales pipeline via a CRM to achieve sales revenue and market share targets.
• Provide accurate quotes, manage sales contracts, and oversee product delivery and installations.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to leverage opportunities for competitive advantage.

To be successful, you will have:

• Proven experience in construction equipment sales or related capital equipment sales.
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and local market conditions.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results.
• Solid computer skills with the ability to learn new CRM systems quickly.
