About The Tote: Located in the vibrant heart of Trentham, right across from the station and racecourse, The Tote is your go-to spot for a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our diverse menu features everything from hearty steaks to classic bar snacks and, of course, delicious pizzas.
We’re Looking For: An enthusiastic and experienced Head Chef with a passion for pizza and a flair for creating exceptional dishes. You’ll lead a talented kitchen team and help elevate our menu to new heights.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the kitchen by inspiring and managing a dedicated team, fostering a positive and creative work environment.
- Bring your expertise to the forefront and develop mouthwatering creations.
- Design and execute seasonal menus with a focus on fresh, local ingredients and unique flavors.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock control while ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standard
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, with pizza experience highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with a knack for team development and motivation.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and dedicated to exceeding culinary standards.
- Proficient in kitchen management software and MS Office.
- Engaging personality with a connection to the local community.
- Competitive salary with an annual bonus of up to $20k, paid quarterly.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
