The Role
Housekeepers in Enliven homes don't only dust, clean and mop floors, they play a vital role in the smooth running of a care home and providing a clean and healthy environment for our residents, staff, volunteers and visitors. This work involves a range of housekeeping and cleaning activities throughout the facility including cleaning of resident bedrooms, showers and toilets. A full orientation will be given.
Hours: Permanent part-time; to be worked 4hrs/day, 0900-1300hrs on weekends. Opportunity to pick up additional shifts to relieve when the weekday Housekeeper is on leave.

- Able to work unsupervised
- Honest and reliable
- Good work ethic
- Able to apply common sense and use your initiative
- Good communication skills
- Have time management skills and able to respond changing circumstances
- Enjoy working with a busy team supporting older people.

About Us
Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO) is a Charitable Trust established in 1906. Our Mission is to walk with people across the generations to create together places to live, learn, and thrive. We call out injustice and advocate for positive change. We operate a highly regarded network of 8 care homes across Otago and we provide many other community-based social support programmes.
Our services for older people are provided by Enliven. We create elder-centered communities where older people have companionship, meaningful activity, purpose, and fun in their lives.
Situated near the beautiful Lake Wanaka, Elmslie House is home to 31 residents supported at hospital and rest home level care.
