The role/Te mahi
We are seeking to appoint one full-time (1.0 FTE) and one part-time (0.5 FTE), permanent Lecturers/Senior Lecturer to teach into our Doctor of Business Administration Programme. Ideally, candidates will have expertise in one of the following areas Governance, Supply Chain and Logistics, Indigenous Business, or Strategy, however, applications in other areas will be considered. These positions provide an excellent opportunity to contribute to a programme in a University of high international standing.

Key responsibilities include:

Teaching primarily postgraduate students including courses which contribute to the Doctor of Business Administration Programme.
Contributing to the research activities of the School, including publishing in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, obtaining external funding support and supervising research students.
Contributing to the effective and efficient running of the School and its responsibilities within the University and wider community.

Your skills and experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheako

The successful candidate will have:

A Ph D or professional doctorate in a Business or related discipline.
Industry experience, preferably at the management level.
Demonstrated evidence of high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
A record of sustained scholarly research and publication with evidence of a developing international reputation and an active research agenda.
Strong commitment to developing collaborative working relationships with colleagues and to supporting the University’s Māori, Pacific, and Sustainability strategic frameworks.

We have two permanent positions available - one full-time (1.0 FTE) and one part-time (0.5 FTE), based in Dunedin.

The appointment range for this role is:

Lecturer - $90,902 to $107,300
Senior Lecturer - $112,482 to $128,305
