We are seeking someone who is highly focused and mature to work in our popular Splash Park this summer. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent verbal communication, and is someone who thrives in outdoor environments.
You will have the maturity to work independently as well as part of a team. You will also be Health and Safety conscious and have a strong sense of responsibility for the safety of those around you. Candidates must hold a current first aid certificate.
The ideal candidate will have a good level of fitness, be able to communicate and relate to both kids and adults and have a practical, hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring everyone’s safety and preventing accidents by spotting hazards
• Patrolling the area & maintaining the SOP’s
• Measuring daily water quality indicators
• Providing excellent customer service to our visitors

What we are looking for:

• Must have prior lifeguarding, swim coaching or water-based work experience.
• Must hold a current first aid certificate.
• Physically fit and a competent swimmer
• Able to maintain focus for extended periods
• Takes responsibility and follows through with action
• Reliable with a hands-on mentality
• Good communicator with a positive personality
• Is available on weekends and across the holiday season

Hours available:
Full-time hours available in December & January. Part-time hours are available from February until the end of our season (end of May).
We are a busy summer destination, so availability on weekends and public holidays is essential (including the Christmas/New Year period).
