About the role
As an LPG Asset Specialist, you would ensure Genesis' LPG depots and delivery agent depots remain compliant with current regulations and achieve operational KPI's through effective asset management and operational practices - safely, reliably and cost effectively.
It would be your responsibility to:
- Ensure compliance with LCC for LPG delivery depots and large customer sites, supporting internal and external audits.
- Assess and manage hazards and risks to customer and public safety, ensuring effective control measures are in place and reviewed regularly.
- Oversee maintenance outages and improvement projects, reviewing JSAs and issuing relevant permit-to-work documents.
- Support asset management programs, through effective stakeholder engagement and contractor management.
- Maintain and update systems, processes, and asset records, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
- Assist Genesis Energy operations and sales staff with technical information related to assets as needed.
- Perform other related duties and fulfil responsibilities as required
We have two permanent, full-time positions available. One role supports the Auckland/Upper North Island region and is based at our East Tamaki Depot. The other role supports the Central/Lower North Island region and can be worked from one of the following depots: Hamilton, Te Puke, Kopu, or Feilding. Due to the nature of the role, travel to sites within your region will be required.
About you
- An understanding of and experience in asset management and process safety;
- Experience working with structured and formal HSE processes and systems;
- Project management experience;
- 2-4 years' experience in an industrial environment preferably in the LPG industry
- A technical background or working towards a technical qualification
