Job Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Marketing Specialist to support both digital and traditional marketing initiatives. This role will involve planning and executing marketing campaigns, managing digital marketing strategies for our e-commerce website, and creating compelling content in both English and Mandarin. The ideal candidate will also support traditional marketing activities such as media campaigns and events. This position is crucial to driving growth in both local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing Activation Planning & Execution: Develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns, promotions, and activations to increase brand awareness and product visibility across multiple markets.
• Digital Marketing Support: Assist with managing SEO, SEM, social media ads, and digital strategies to drive traffic and sales through our e-commerce platform, leveraging both local and international marketing channels.
• Traditional Marketing: Support media buying efforts and coordinate the planning and execution of events such as expos, product launches, and customer activations for local pharmacies and international markets.
• Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging content in both English and Mandarin for various platforms, including social media, websites, EDMs, catalogues, and other marketing materials.
• Social Media Management: Grow and manage brand presence on Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads, as well as Chinese social media (We Chat, Xiaohongshu, Douyin), ensuring culturally relevant and market-specific content.
• Event Management: Assist in organising and promoting corporate events, product launches, and trade shows, ensuring smooth execution and maximising audience engagement both locally and in overseas markets.
• Visual Content Production: Capture and edit images for marketing purposes, enhancing visual storytelling across all campaigns.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across digital and traditional channels, aligning with our company’s strategic goals.
• Performance Monitoring: Track, analyse, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using insights to continuously improve future marketing initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on digital marketing.
• Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, and advertising platforms such as Facebook and Google Ads.
• Expertise in Chinese social media platforms and the ability to produce culturally relevant content for diverse markets.
• Proficiency in marketing analytics, with the ability to assess and optimise campaign effectiveness.
• Excellent written and visual content creation skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Photography skills and basic photo editing experience (good to have).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or a valid work visa holder.

Candidates must be New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, residents, or hold a valid work visa.

Pay: $23.15 – $25.00 per hour
