We invite enthusiastic Registrars and Senior House Officers to apply for the position of Orthopaedic Registrar for the period January 2025 through to January 2026. Mō Tātou – About Us
Situated in the sunny eastern coast of New Zealand's North Island, the Bay of Plenty really is just that, offering vast golden sand beaches, bush clad mountains, lush farmlands and more. Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne. Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.
We are part of an organisation that has a larger base hospital, Tauranga which is approximately 90km away.
He kōrero mō te tūranga – About the Role
The department provides a wide range of general and specialist orthopaedic care and is fully accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. There is a strong focus on teaching through trauma and elective orthopaedic care.
