Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and sealing, ensuring a perfect base for painting by removing old paint, repairing woodwork, and filling holes and cracks.
- Apply paints, varnishes, and stains to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, achieving a flawless finish.
- Mix and prepare paints to match desired colors, carefully combining pigments, oils, and additives for the perfect consistency.
- Safely set up scaffolding and ladders, and use drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splatters.
- Hang wallpaper with precision, ensuring patterns align and edges are neatly trimmed.
- Maintain and clean all tools and equipment, ensuring a tidy work environment.
- Perform minor repairs, such as fixing windows and replacing glass in wooden and metal frames.
- Lay and repair wall and floor tiles as needed.
- Ensure all painting work is performed to the highest standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- At least three years of experience as a painting trades worker.
- In-depth knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Proficient in surface preparation and finishing techniques.
- Attention to detail and a strong eye for high-quality work.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Competitive salary - $29.66 to $31.61 Per hour
- Working Hours – 30 to 40 Hours per week
