We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. This role requires a professional tradesperson who will execute high-quality painting projects while adhering to contract specifications and deadlines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and industry standards.

Skill Requirements:
- Set up work areas safely, including erecting scaffolding, placing ladders, and installing drop sheets to protect adjacent surfaces
- Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, stripping timber, sanding, fixing woodwork, filling holes/cracks, and sealing surfaces
- Mix and prepare paints to required colors, including pigments, oils, and additive
- Apply various products including water-based paints, oil-based paints, and varnishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Hang wallpaper, match patterns, and trim edges
- Perform minor repairs including window maintenance, glass replacement, and tile work
- Maintain clean equipment and work areas in compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Demonstrate competency in all painting procedures with previous industry experience required
