Why the role is important
Procuret is scaling and we need great Salespeople for New Zealand! Procuret's distribution involves partnering with Supplier and Service providers (ìSupplier Partnersî) so that they can offer Procuret as a payment option to their business clients.
Role Description
This is an Auckland based position and an essential role at Procuret
It is a sales role responsible for providing a high standard of origination, prospecting, and onboarding services
The role requires a person with a unique growth mindset, a strong business aptitude and professional presence
The primary function is to acquire and on-board new strategic Supplier Partners to Procuret's payment platform. These Supplier Partners will consist of domestic and multinational suppliers and service providers that meet Procuret's target markets and funding criteria
The role will carry targets and key performance indicators together with other principle-based criteria
The ability to work in a hybrid location environment is essential
What your day will look like
The role will initially report to the designated revenue leader at Procuret and require strategic prospecting, new opportunity management, client needs analysis and other activities included and not limited to:
  • Identifying prospective Supplier Partners, perform lead generation and prospecting activities including cold and warm calling, social media follow-up, trade show attendance, lead follow-up and phone appointments
  • Vetting and screening opportunities, building trust with prospective clients, proposal preparation, pricing and completing the Supplier Partner onboarding process
  • Interacting with Customer Success team and functional teams to co-ordinate requirements for the successful development of new Supplier Partners
  • Developing in-depth understanding of a Supplier Partners business model, industry and gain deeper understanding of their requirements
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with activity, opportunity and sales pipeline management
  • Any other responsibilities or duties as required from time to time by the Chief Executive or revenue leader

The Partnership Manager:
  • is accountable for conducting all internal and external business in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner, representing Procuret with integrity
  • must ensure that his or her actions do not in conflict with the interest of Procuret
  • must always exercise confidentiality and is responsible for ensuring that his or her activities comply with relevant employment legalisation including but not limited to those relating to recruitment, occupation health and safety, termination of employment and equal employment opportunity

Your minimum Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification preferred
