- Renal Service – Bay of Islands Hospital
- Permanent, part time (0.9 FTE) working 36 hours per week
- Travel to and from other dialysis units across Northland as and when required
About the Role and Team
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the team in Bay of Islands as a part of our Renal Service.
The primary functions of this role are provision of safe and therapeutic Haemodialysis treatments to Northland patients and to provide supportive care to patients with ESRF, ARF and to those receiving Home Haemodialysis throughout Northland including satellite unit/s.
About you
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse/Registered Comprehensive Nurse with current practicing certificate
- A minimum 2 years clinical experience post-graduation
- A commitment to work towards accomplishment of Competent PDRP level
- Has or is working towards a post graduate qualification with a renal focus
- The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
