Senior Business Unit Manager

This position is responsible for the sales & marketing strategies, marketing, forecasting, and road map/stock management for the brand. This Parnell-based role will report to the General Manager -Hardware, and will ensure the optimum sales and streamlined management of the entire product range within responsibility.

What you will do in this role:
- Oversee the management of product roadmaps, lifecycle, product ranges, margins, and pricing, and conduct market analysis. Devise, manage, and successfully implement marketing budgets and strategies to ensure targets are met
- Identify opportunities to strategically partner with resellers, manage and develop the reseller base, understand key personnel and specific reseller needs
- Develop strategic account plans for focus resellers that cover training, marketing, lead generation, joint solution selling, etc.
- Communicate vendor promotions, initiatives, training, and operational changes to all departments, ensure all target resellers understand the vendor's Partner Program
- Manage sales forecasting and ensure stock ordering meets budgets, targets, and vendor rebate incentives.
- Work with all Dicker Data management to identify and optimise any opportunities and to prevent or resolve any product or brand-related issues
To be successful, you will have/be:
- Previous proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the IT industry or in Distribution
- High level of interpersonal and leadership skills and relationships
- A strategic thinker, with initiative and enthusiasm
- High-level supervisory skills with the ability to focus and direct Team members including the ability to mentor, guide, and nurture staff
- Multi-tasking and excellent prioritisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to communicate and liaise with all levels of customer and supplier contacts
- Existing strong relationships in the top vendor accounts would be advantageous
