General Information
Description
Extensive knowledge and experience delivering Asphalt Paving Projects, along with airport project delivery experience, is essential. Our Paving Division has a strong pipeline of work and is on track to lay 20,000-30,000 tonnes of asphalt. We are looking for an experienced PM who can drive project delivery and lead a team of engineers and QA technicians.

What you’ll bring to the role:
- 10+ years Project Management Experience with extensive Asphalt Paving knowledge
- Proven experience delivering Paving Projects with Airport project delivery experience
- In-depth knowledge of aggregates, with a technical understanding of these materials and their applications
- You will be confident leading a team of Project Engineers and QA Technicians.
- Sound financial management, budget management and reporting capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, you will be comfortable communicating at all levels including with Higgins senior leaders, clients and external stakeholders
- Civil Engineering Degree or similar
- Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and the knowledge to apply NZS3910 is desirable
- Strong focus on health and safety not just your own but your colleagues and the public
