Sports Facility Bookings Administrator - Indoor Sports & Facilities

Selwyn District Council has fixed term opportunity for a Sports Facility Booking Administrator - Indoor Sports & Facilities to join our Sports and Recreation team, you will bring your superior customer service skills, sports & recreation knowledge, experience and a fun bubbly personality. this role will be responsible for the implementation and smooth running of the new booking system across the sport and Recreation team
- Successfully supporting the establishment and maintenance of a fit for purpose Sport facilities booking system that complies with Selwyn District Councils requirements and policies.
- Delivering the administration associated with sports clubs/user group bookings of sports facilities across the Selwyn District.
- Prepares reports, calendars, spreadsheets and booking information to distribute to internal and external stakeholders.
- Acts as the main booking contact for indoor sports groups
- Liaises with internal and external stakeholders of major events to ensure the successful delivery of all events.
About You

- Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout all interactions with sport facility users
- High level of digital literacy, with experience in computerised booking systems
- Previous experience with participation in, sport and recreation bookings.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and meet tight timeframes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in working with sport and recreation groups.
- A high degree of self-motivation and initiative - highly motivated, calm, reliable and flexible.
