Perks for being in this role:

The role work primarily in reverse and into specific parameters on the vessel, therefore experience reversing truck and trailers and B-trains is required.

The position currently available is a permanent between Wednesday and Sunday day or night shifts. Which would include public holidays and weekends due to our 24-hour 7 day a week operation.

Helping you understand the port environment is all part of the on-the-job training offered and we’ll also provide support getting your Dangerous Goods (DG) and F endorsements, if required.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has an excellent work ethic and attendance record
• Is punctual, reliable, honest and positive
• Works in a safe and efficient manner and will comply with company policies and procedures
• Can follow instructions and take direction
• Works well in a diverse team environment
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written

Of course, there are a few technical requirements which are important to have:

• A Class 5 licence and a clean and safe driving record.
• Experience driving B trains, Semis and Truck and Trailers
• Excellent reversing and backing skills
• An open work visa or residency is required for all non-citizen candiates.

OSH Forklift certification or F endorsement and current W T R endorsements would be useful but are not critical.
