Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
The role of Tautāwhi | Administrator in UC's Business School is to provide high quality, proficient administrative support to our Business units and their staff. You will support our collaborative team approach, engaging in efficient process and flexible team working practices. Responsibilities include day-to-day administrative support, preparing and processing correspondence, coordinating academic programmes, processing large datasets and timesheets, hiring fixed term and casual contracts, coordinating events, travel and meetings.
The Business School provides a positive challenge for an administrator wanting to work in a vibrant and progressive environment, in a role that is diverse with tasks that change throughout the year. We will provide the right candidate with a comprehensive induction and training schedule and on-the-go support.
Mōu | Who You Are
To be successful in this role you will have administrative experience in an education-related or business environment with a strong customer service focus, as well as:
- Proficient experience in co-ordinating and administering employment contracts and timesheet payments in a tertiary environment.
- Experience in student grading procedures and reporting requirements in a large educational unit.
- Co-ordinating the examinations process and timetabling requirements for academic units in a tertiary environment.
- a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- a positive can-do attitude, with energy, drive and initiative
- excellent intrapersonal skills to carry out duties such as front of house reception greeting students and staff
- experience coordinating a range of administrative duties such as travel, workshops, events and general office organisation
- proven experience and commitment to enhancing cultural awareness and competence.
