Job Title: Accounting Officer
Location: Port Harcourt
Business: Financial Institution
Salary: 80,000

Duties / Responsibilities
· Preparing accurate statements, reports, and summaries of all the financial activities of the company
· Preparing and filling statutory deductions i.e VAT, PAYE, CIT, Pension Fund, etc.
· Prepare annual depreciation and depletion tax schedules.
· Managing payments to vendors and collecting funds from customers.
· Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports.
· Liaise with external auditors on organization findings.
· Ensuring company financial accounts and vendors are paid on time
· Managing the company assets register
Requirements / Skill
· Minimum of OND in Accounting or related discipline
· 2 years’ experience in a similar position with good knowledge of accounting principles
· Knowledge of ERP and other Accounting software
· Proficient in the use of MS Office
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Good knowledge in financial reporting
