Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare requisitions and ensure timely reconciliation of disbursements
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Publish financial statements on time

Requirements and skills:

• 1-3 years of work experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like Sage, Fresh Books and Quick Books
• Advanced use of MS Office suites especially MS Excel
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree
• Additional certifications in the accounting field are an advantage.

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Remuneration: NGN 120,000 - 150,000
