We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team and ensure the efficient collection of outstanding invoices and payments.


Role Overview:
As an Accounts Receivable Officer , you will play a critical role in managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection of payments. You will work closely with project managers and finance teams to maintain positive client relationships while efficiently handling collections and resolving any related issues.


Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.

• Contact clients to follow up on overdue payments via phone, email, mail and in person visits.

• Maintain accurate records of communication and payment status in the company’s financial systems.

• Collaborate with project managers to resolve any billing discrepancies or client disputes.

• Prepare and send regular statements and reminders to clients.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection processes and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).

• Provide reports on collection activities and outstanding accounts to management.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in financial software, CRM, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience in a project-driven organization is a plus.
