Position Overview
Astra Prospects is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Cyber Security Tutor to join our team on a contract, part-time basis. As a Cyber Security Tutor, you will provide virtual instruction to aspiring cybersecurity professionals, guiding them through foundational and advanced concepts, hands-on exercises, and industry best practices. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location within Nigeria, and offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the careers of our students.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 3 classes per week, each class lasting 2 hours, through our online platform.
• Teach cybersecurity concepts, tools, and best practices, including but not limited to network security, threat analysis, ethical hacking, and incident response.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to reinforce course materials and ensure comprehension.
• Provide personalized guidance, mentorship, and feedback to help students master cybersecurity skills.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, threats, and developments in the cybersecurity field to keep course content relevant and engaging.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in cybersecurity with relevant certifications
• Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentorship experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity tools, methodologies, and platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for beginners and advanced learners alike.
• A commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for students.
