Job Summary: We are currently seeking a talented Digital/ product Marketer to market our software products on our social media platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with the media team to create engaging content, manage posts, and respond to our followers. Your goal will be to maintain our company's image consistently to achieve our marketing objectives. To succeed in this position, you must possess a thorough understanding of various social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics to optimize campaigns. As a digital Marketer, you should stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. Additionally, you must possess excellent communication skills and be able to convey our company's views creatively. You will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, engage our target audience, and drive business objectives for our company.
Responsibilities as a digital marketer:
· Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
· Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
· Set specific objectives and report on ROI
· Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
· Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility.
· Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.
· Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
· Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
· Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency
· Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews
· Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)
· Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
· Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
· Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing and shareable multimedia content
· Utilize storytelling techniques to convey brand messages effectively.
· Foster community engagement through online forums, groups, and social media communities.
As a Product marketer you will:
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, including positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, and use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and creative, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
- Create compelling product content, including product descriptions, sales collateral, and customer case studies.
- Manage product pricing and packaging, and develop pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability.
- Develop and execute demand generation campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and advertising.
- Analyze and report on product performance metrics, including sales, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends, and use insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize product marketing strategies to improve effectiveness and drive business growth.
Requirements and skills
· 3 years experience in digital/product marketing of software products
· Hands-on experience in content management
· Excellent copywriting skills
. Experience in writing sales pitch.
· Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
· Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
· Knowledge of online marketing channels
· Familiarity with web design
· Analytical and multitasking skills
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing and social media.
Salary: N300,000 (net)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
