Job Description

The Enterprise Sales Manager at Proten Technologies will be responsible for building and scaling our enterprise client portfolio, targeting high-growth industries that require specialized IT consulting, managed services, and digital transformation solutions. You will drive the entire sales cycle—from market research and lead generation to contract negotiations and closing. This role demands a highly strategic mindset and a deep understanding of enterprise technology needs, with a focus on helping businesses unlock value through tailored technology solutions.

You will work closely with our internal teams in IT Strategy, Cloud Services, Business Process Automation, and Software Development to craft solutions that address client pain points, ensuring a seamless transition from the sales process to project execution.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and target large enterprises across industries with high demand for digital transformation, IT infrastructure, managed services, and cloud solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand client challenges, industry trends, and competitive pressures, offering tailored solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Leverage existing networks and develop new relationships with key decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, and other C-level executives) to secure large-scale IT consulting projects.
  • Sales Pipeline Development:
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and leveraging marketing initiatives.
  • Identify and qualify high-potential leads, taking them through the entire sales funnel, from discovery to proposal submission, contract negotiation, and closure.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with Proten Technologies’ short-term and long-term goals for growth.
  • Solution Selling:
  • Partner with internal technical teams to create and deliver customized proposals that address client-specific needs in areas like IT Strategy, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, ERP, and Cloud Computing.
  • Lead product and service demonstrations, showing clients how our offerings can optimize their operations, improve security, and drive profitability.
  • Educate clients on emerging technologies (e.g., Io T, AI, Blockchain) and how they can be leveraged for future scalability and competitive advantage.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with enterprise clients, serving as their trusted advisor on all matters related to IT strategy and digital transformation.
  • Continuously engage clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and ensure the delivery of high-impact solutions.
  • Act as the bridge between clients and our delivery teams, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Revenue Growth and Targets:
  • Own and exceed revenue targets through successful client acquisition, expansion of existing accounts, and closing of high-value deals.
  • Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategies, contract terms, and negotiation to ensure win-win agreements that meet revenue goals while delivering value to the client

Qualifications

Requirements:


  • Experience & Expertise:
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in B2B sales, focusing on enterprise-level IT consulting, managed services, or digital transformation solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience selling complex IT solutions such as ERP, cybersecurity, cloud migration, OEM products or custom software.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance, telecommunications, retail, or manufacturing industries and their unique technology needs.
  • Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in Sales, IT Strategy, or Digital Transformation are an added advantage.
  • Possession of OEM Certifications would be an advantage.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Strong Knowledge and experience in selling Enterprise Hardware and Software OEM Solutions
