Job Description (Summary)
As the General Manager, Corporate Finance, you will be responsible for leading the company’s finance function, formulating capital raising solutions, and providing sound investment advisory. You will work intensively with the Executive Chairman to achieve financial resilience and maintain a strong financial reputation.
Corporate Finance Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement corporate finance strategies to ensure capital availability for company projects.
Manage the company’s treasury function and negotiate with commercial banks and other financial entities.
Propose and execute a mix of viable funding strategies across various financing platforms.
Provide strategic financial advisory to the Chairman and Board of Directors.
Establish a network of finance industry players to support the company's financial needs.
Financial Management and Planning:
Collaborate with the Corporate Planning & Strategy Directorate to develop feasibility studies and business plans.
Lead the process of securing and maintaining a compelling rating level for the company.
Formulate and drive investment strategies supported by strong research and analytics.
Leverage the finance function to enhance company brand equity and shareholder value.
Develop annual dividend payout structures serving shareholders' best interests.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure high-performance standards.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory inquiries and audits.
Implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
● A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management, or a related field. A master's degree, preferably from a foreign university, is preferred.
● Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance roles across diverse industries.
● Proven experience in corporate finance strategy development and capital raising.
● Strong understanding of financial management, market research, and compliance.
