Operations Manager (Beauty &Retail)

We are seeking a detail-oriented retail Operations Manager who will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of our beauty retail business, overseeing both B2C (direct-to-consumer) and B2B (business-to-business) channels. This hybrid position is ideal for a beauty industry professional who is passionate about procurement, logistics, and working closely with brand partners to ensure their needs are met. You will also be responsible for overseeing the operational technology, including ERP systems, to ensure efficient workflows. In addition, the role requires analysing stock movements and optimizing inventory management to prevent stockouts and ensure a smooth supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations for both B2C and B2B channels, ensuring efficiency and high customer service standards.
- Continuously implement processes to enhance day-to-day operational effectiveness.
- Source suppliers maintain optimal stock levels, and forecast demand of products.
- Negotiate vendor contracts for cost-effectiveness.
- Serve as the main contact for brand partners, assist in new product launches, and ensure proper product placement across retail platforms.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, resolve logistical issues, and ensure timely product delivery.
- Analyze stock levels, monitor sales trends, and adjust inventory to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Manage the company’s ERP and other operational technologies, ensuring they support procurement, logistics, inventory, and financial processes efficiently.
- Lead the implementation of new tools or upgrades for better workflow and data management, ensuring technical issues are addressed.
- Train staff on technology and systems, ensuring proper use and compliance with operational processes.
- Lead and support the operations team through clear communication, motivation, and skill enhancement to achieve high performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations and related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in retail operations, preferably in the beauty industry or related field
- Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Experience managing ERP systems and other operational technologies.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with suppliers and brand partners.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data for decision-making.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- 13 Month Salary
- HMO
- Location: Lagos, Nigeria
- Work Mode: Hybrid
- Work Hours: 8 am- 5 pm, 9 am-6 pm; Mondays- Fridays
Pay: ₦450,000.00 per month
