Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs and curricula that meet national and international standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive school culture promoting student engagement and academic achievement.
- Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of qualified teaching staff.
- Evaluate and improve teaching methods and student learning outcomes through continuous assessment and feedback.
- Manage day-to-day school operations, including scheduling, facilities management, and administrative functions.
- Ensure the school complies with all local, state, and federal regulations and policies.
- Implement and oversee health and safety policies to ensure a safe learning environment for students and staff.
- Develop and manage the school budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial stability.
- Oversee financial planning, including fundraising, grant writing, and developing strategic partnerships.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and the broader community.
- Develop strong relationships with parents, community leaders, and educational authorities.
- Represent the school at various community and educational events.
- Lead the development and implementation of the school’s long-term strategic goals.
- Continuously assess and address the school's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement in all areas of the school’s operation.
Requirements:
- BSc/Master's degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field. A Ph.D. is an advantage.
- Professional certification in school administration or leadership.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in educational leadership, with at least 5 years in a principal or similar administrative role.
- Proven experience in managing school operations, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Demonstrated success in improving academic outcomes and school performance.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial management and understanding of school funding and budget processes.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement long-term plans.
- Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders, including parents, community members, and educational authorities.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Passionate about education and committed to the holistic development of students.
- Culturally sensitive and able to work in a diverse community.
- Innovative, with a forward-thinking approach to education.
