Our group is a leading processor, exporter, and supplier of raw cashew nuts for the last 9 years processing around 10,000 metric tons of raw cashew nuts. As part of our expansion, we are broadening our portfolio to include spices, oil seeds, soybean seeds, dry hibiscus flowers, stone flowers, gum, sesame oil, and sesame oil cake, cocoa, coffee etc.


Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement efforts in Nigeria. You will be responsible for sourcing large volumes of agricultural commodities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective and timely purchases.


Key Responsibilities

• High volume procurement: Oversee high-volume procurement of agricultural commodities.
• Full-cycle expertise: Manage the entire procurement process, from sourcing to logistics across Nigeria and other West Africa countries.
• Stakeholder engagement: Build strong relationships with suppliers, government officials, and buyers.
• Market analysis: Analyse market trends to make informed buying decisions.
• Quality assurance: Ensure quality and cost-effectiveness in all procurement activities.

Qualifications

• Africa experience: Currently present in Nigeria or West Africa and having atleast 3-5 years of experience working in Nigeria or West Africa.
• Industry experience: Atleast 5 years in procurement and/or supply chain management in the agri-business or commodities sector.
• Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Track record: Proven success in managing high-volume procurement operations.
• Travel: Ability to travel across Africa for procurement.
