PROCUREMENT OFFICER (FMCG)

Our client is a conglomerate company in Nigeria and other parts of Africa, established over 40 years ago with ties in Asia and the Middle East. They are into FMCG products which includes; Tyres, Food and Beverages, plastic and Paper. They are in need of a PROCUREMENT OFFICER for their plastic manufacturing arm.
LOCATION: Lagos.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
  • Sourcing and vendor management
  • Track, Record Orders & Market survey
  • Prepare reports and updates as at when required.
  • Review quality of purchased products.
  • Perform inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
  • Estimate and establish budgets for purchases.
  • Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to visit market.
  • Proficiency of detail and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Experience:
  • procurement: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Procurement in a Factory: 2 years (Preferred)

  • Lagos (Preferred)
