Job Title: Reconcilation and Settlement Officer
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze financial transactions and identify discrepancies, investigating and resolving any issues promptly.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and present findings to management, highlighting any significant discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely settlement of transactions and resolution of issues.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all reconciliations and settlements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies throughout the reconciliation process.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to reconciliation and settlement processes.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in a finance or accounting role, preferably in reconciliation and settlement.
• Good understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Sage is an added advantage

Salary Expectation: N100,000 - N150,000
