The Billing and Revenue specialist will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and supporting revenue recognition procedures. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses a strong understanding of accounting principles. You will be joining our team of dynamic individuals and will be based in our Oslo office.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send out invoices, and manage the collection process
• Manage customer accounts and requirements
• Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve billing issues and discrepancies
• Perform revenue reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to billing and revenue recognition.
Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration with minimum of 3-5 years of experience in billing, revenue management, or related financial roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Workday, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English as a working language)
