Car painter for Norway

- The car painter mainly deals with the establishment of the painting works of the vehicles, the preparation of the body, surfaces and materials for painting, the execution of the painting works, the execution of the touch-up works of the painted surfaces, as well as with the application of special treatments subsequent to the painting process.
- Preparation and coating of surfaces with pelliculogenic substances for the purpose of anti-corrosion protection, respecting company procedures and policies.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Graduated from Vocational School/High School;

Knowledge of preparation of bodywork elements; - Knowledge of measuring instruments;
- Relevant work experience of at least 2 years in car painting services;
- Studies in the field of car painting (Professional School) - are a plus!
Job description:
- to ensure that he establishes the painting works according to the products, the surfaces to be painted;
- to clean the surfaces of various irregularities or deposits;
- to remove the old paint and prepare the surface for painting;
- to sand the grouted surfaces;
- to estimate the amount of materials needed for painting;
- to ensure that he prepares the painting materials;
- to ensure that they carry out the painting and finishing works (touch-ups);
- to ensure that specific treatments are applied for faster baking (drying) of painting materials or improving the quality of the final layer;
- to choose the colors according to the drawing or painting plan;
- to ensure that it offers solutions from a technical, aesthetic, qualitative and economic point of view, in addition to the actual painting operations;
- to identify the physical and chemical characteristics (appearance, viscosity, adhesion, composition) of the materials used in the painting process (paints, thinners, mastics, solvents, etc.) and how to use and apply them, depending on the nature of the material.
